The Bahrain Technology Companies Society (BTECH) recently held the Bahrain Digital Content Award (BDC Award) distribution ceremony at the Gulf Convention Center in Manama. The event was attended by various leaders and innovators in the digital entrepreneurship and innovation fields. A total of 28 national digital projects were honored across eight categories, including Government & Citizen Engagement, Health & Well Being, Learning & Education, and more.

The BDC Award is a prestigious recognition of the Kingdom of Bahrain’s progress in developing digital content and supporting global digitization trends. It aims to highlight the competitiveness of all sectors in creating innovative solutions for digital transformation, while promoting creativity in developing electronic content across government and private institutions. The event was organized in partnership with WorkSmart Events Management Company and sponsored by several companies, including BENEFIT Bahrain, Atyaf eSolutions, and B4BH as the exclusive media partner.

The ceremony was attended by His Excellency Ali Bin Saleh Al Saleh, Chairman of the Shura Council, and other prominent figures. The BDC Award recognizes the significant strides that Bahrain has made in advancing ICT and supporting digital content development. It showcases the Kingdom’s commitment to fostering creativity and innovation in the digital sector, ultimately contributing to the growth and success of the country’s digital economy.
