Cabinet prioritizes local development initiatives and future readiness

Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman recently chaired a cabinet session in Jeddah where the focus was on strengthening friendship ties and bilateral cooperation with various countries and organizations. The discussions also revolved around international security, stability, development, progress, and cultural enrichment. The Kingdom reaffirmed its stance on regional and international issues, particularly emphasizing efforts towards an immediate ceasefire in the Gaza Strip and supporting the Palestinian people in achieving their rights to establish an independent state.

After the cabinet session, Minister of Media Salman Al-Dossary highlighted that the government is working on ongoing programs and initiatives aimed at current development and future preparedness. This includes infrastructure enhancement, improving service quality for citizens and residents, developing promising sectors, advancing telecommunications technologies, attracting investments, and boosting national industries. Efforts are also being made to involve Saudi youth in development initiatives, empower the labor market with more national workers, and reduce the unemployment rate to meet the target set by Saudi Vision 2030.

The cabinet, in collaboration with the Shoura Council, reviewed its agenda items and was briefed on conclusions from various councils and committees such as the Council of Economic and Development Affairs, the Council for Political and Security Affairs, the Cabinet’s General Committee, and the Cabinet’s Bureau of Experts. The government is working towards enhancing the involvement of Saudi youth in development initiatives, empowering the labor market, and reducing the unemployment rate.

By focusing on initiatives that aim for current development and future preparedness, the Saudi government is prioritizing infrastructure enhancement, improving service quality, and developing promising sectors. Efforts are also being made to advance telecommunications technologies, attract investments, boost national industries, and reduce the unemployment rate to meet the targets set by Saudi Vision 2030. The involvement of Saudi youth in development initiatives and the empowerment of the labor market with more national workers are key priorities for the government.
