A tragic car accident on the international highway near the Iraqi city of Nasiriyah has left a Bahraini family mourning the loss of one of their own. Fawziya Al Najjar was laid to rest in the Al Salim cemetery in Najaf, Iraq, following the accident. Six other family members were also injured in the crash and remain hospitalized in Nasiriyah, Turkey, with one of them, a 15-year-old, in critical condition and in intensive care.

Sources close to the family have confirmed that one family member has been released from the hospital, while six others are still receiving medical care. The family is grateful for the support and prayers they have received during this difficult time. They have provided details on the condition of the hospitalized individuals, including two women, the driver, and the 15-year-old child in intensive care.

The family member shared that the driver is still in a state of denial and is not aware of his mother’s passing. He also has limited recollection of the accident. The two women are recovering from surgery for fractures sustained in the crash, while the 15-year-old boy, although stable, remains in intensive care. The family has expressed their gratitude to the Bahraini Embassy in Iraq, particularly Ambassador Khalid Al Mansour, for their unwavering support and assistance.

At a difficult time like this, it is heartwarming to see the community come together to support and pray for the recovery of the injured family members. The tragic accident has left the family grappling with grief and uncertainty, but the outpouring of support is a reminder that they are not alone in their struggle. The Bahraini Embassy in Iraq has played a crucial role in providing assistance and comfort to the family during this challenging period, for which they are immensely grateful.

As the injured family members continue their recovery, their loved ones and the community at large remain hopeful for their full and speedy recovery. The driver’s lack of awareness about his mother’s passing adds another layer of complexity to this tragic situation, but with the support of the Bahraini Embassy and the continued prayers from well-wishers, the family is sure to find strength and solace in the days ahead.

The family’s appreciation for the assistance they have received underscores the importance of solidarity and compassion in times of crisis. The tragedy in Nasiriyah serves as a stark reminder of the fragility of life and the importance of coming together as a community to support one another through difficult times. As the family continues to navigate the challenges ahead, they can take comfort in the knowledge that they are surrounded by a network of support that will help them heal and recover from this devastating event.
