Bahrain supports Arab unity for economic advancement

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Bahrain, recently reaffirmed the country’s commitment to supporting Arab initiatives aimed at advancing economic and social integration. During a meeting with the heads of delegations participating in the preparatory meetings of the Economic and Social Council of the Arab League, HRH Prince Salman emphasized the Kingdom’s role in fostering economic growth and the need for coordination in the midst of global economic shifts.

HRH Prince Salman stressed the importance of ongoing progress and development in all sectors, particularly economic and social, to achieve the joint aspirations and visions of forward-thinking Arab leaders. He welcomed the heads of delegations to Bahrain and wished them success in achieving the goals of the meeting, highlighting the economy, security, and fairness as essential pillars for development.

Highlighting the importance of building on developmental achievements and joint efforts, HRH Prince Salman emphasized the need to strengthen strategic partnerships to achieve the aspirations of Arab countries and their people. The heads of delegations expressed their gratitude to HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister for his unwavering commitment and support in advancing collective Arab efforts, commending Bahrain for hosting and organizing the 33rd Arab Summit and wishing the Kingdom further progress and development.

The meeting was also attended by His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Minister of Finance and National Economy, HE Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, and a number of senior officials. The heads of delegations expressed their appreciation for Bahrain’s efforts in hosting the summit and organizing the meetings, reflecting the Kingdom’s commitment to promoting economic and social integration among Arab nations.

HRH Prince Salman’s statements underscored Bahrain’s dedication to supporting Arab initiatives and fostering economic growth in the region.
