The Bahrain International Airshow 2024 is set to generate around $70 million in indirect income through chalet rentals and sponsorships, according to Yousif Mahmoud, Director General of the event. The upcoming 7th edition of the airshow is scheduled to take place from November 13-15, 2024. Mahmoud highlighted the success of previous shows and the positive impact of alternating the airshow between Bahrain and Dubai. Despite regional political issues, Bahrain remains a safe and attractive destination for global companies. The organizers are already planning for the 2026 Airshow.

This year’s Bahrain International Airshow is expected to attract 50,000 visitors and will include a family zone with workshops and food trucks from local Bahraini restaurants. The initiative supports local businesses and contributes to the community. The event promises to be a major highlight with a variety of attractions for attendees of all ages. Tickets can be purchased on the official website for no more than 5 dinars, with free entry for children under 16 accompanied by a guardian. Parking is also available for 10,000 attendees.

The focus of BIAS 2024 will be on military products, with a larger budget allocation compared to civilian products. It aims to support national companies in establishing their presence on the global stage. Educational workshops led by global experts will engage elite university students and attract more women to the aviation industry. The airshow will also host a conference on military industries, emphasizing national security and safety. Additionally, five thousand students from schools have been invited to attend the event.

Delegations from 56 countries and 222 official delegates will participate in this year’s airshow, with the involvement of 20 government entities to ensure its success. The event welcomes companies already present in Bahrain or seeking opportunities in the market, with efforts made to assist them in establishing their operations in the country. With 135 companies participating and 120 aircraft expected to be displayed, including civilian and military models, the Bahrain International Airshow promises a showcase of innovation and skill.

The 7th edition of the Bahrain International Airshow is held under the patronage of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister. The event is supervised by HH Sheikh Abdulla Bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Personal Representative of His Majesty the King & Chairman of BIAS Supreme Organizing Committee. BIAS continues to be a major platform for global companies and local businesses, highlighting Bahrain’s status as a growing aviation hub. Ticket information and parking details are available on the official website for easy access and convenience.
