The Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs has announced a change in burial ceremonies during the summer months in Doha, Qatar. Starting from June until the end of September, burial ceremonies will be held in the mornings and evenings. This decision was made in cooperation with the Ministry of Municipality to accommodate the extreme heat during the summer season.

The Ministry has outlined specific timings for burial ceremonies during this period. Burials will only take place in the morning period from sunrise until 8 am. Any burials scheduled after Dhuhr and Asr prayers will be postponed until after Maghrib and Isha in the evening. This schedule is aimed at ensuring the safety and comfort of those attending the ceremonies, as well as the workers involved in the burial process.

The decision to change the timings of burial ceremonies during the summer months takes into consideration the extreme heat experienced in Qatar during this time of year. By limiting burials to the morning and evening hours, the Ministry aims to prevent any potential health risks that may arise from exposure to the high temperatures during the day. This move reflects the government’s commitment to ensuring the well-being of its citizens and residents.

The Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs, in collaboration with the Ministry of Municipality, has taken a proactive approach to address the challenges posed by the summer heat in Qatar. By adjusting the timings of burial ceremonies, they have shown a dedication to prioritizing the health and safety of all individuals involved in the process. This decision is part of a wider effort to mitigate the impact of extreme weather conditions on daily life in the country.

In light of the new timings for burial ceremonies during the summer months, the Ministry is urging the public to adhere to the schedule and cooperate with the authorities to ensure the smooth implementation of these changes. It is important for everyone to be aware of the adjusted timings and plan their activities accordingly. By following these guidelines, individuals can contribute to creating a safer and more comfortable environment for all during this challenging period.

Overall, the decision to hold burial ceremonies in the mornings and evenings during the summer months in Doha, Qatar, reflects a thoughtful and proactive approach by the government to address the impact of extreme heat on daily activities. By prioritizing the health and well-being of its citizens and residents, the Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs is demonstrating its commitment to providing a safe and comfortable environment for all individuals. This initiative is part of a wider effort to ensure the resilience and adaptability of communities in the face of changing climate conditions.
