Al Rayyan Club organizes cyber awareness workshop

The youth body at Al Rayyan Club recently organized a workshop entitled ‘Cyber Awareness’ in Doha, Qatar, in collaboration with the Ministry of Sports and Youth and the Canadian Center for Computing Sciences. The workshop aimed to enhance cyber awareness in a digital age where cyber threats are on the rise. Participants learned about cyber safety procedures, how to preserve their online identity, and develop their skills in handling cyber data.

Faisal Al Hammadi, the head of the youth body at Al Rayyan Club, highlighted the importance of the workshop. He emphasized that the workshop covered various topics in cybersecurity, such as basic concepts, cyber risks, and how to deal with them effectively. Participants also learned about maintaining privacy online, understanding the role of users in enhancing cybersecurity, and practicing safe internet and email usage.
