The General Authority for Applied Education and Training, led by Director General Dr. Hassan Al-Fajam, has officially announced the acceptance results for applicants holding a ninth-grade certificate and its equivalents, as well as fifth-grade certificate holders and those applying for special classes in the authority’s institutes and training courses for the 2026-2027 academic year. This announcement comes as part of the authority’s ongoing efforts to enhance educational opportunities.
According to Dr. Mohammed Al-Kandari, Dean of Admissions and Registration, the admission process was carried out based on approved acceptance plans and organized regulations. The results reflect the minimum acceptance rates, candidates’ preferences, and the availability of training seats. A total of 2,058 students were accepted from the ninth-grade cohort out of 2,108 applicants, while 58 students from the fifth-grade pool were accepted from all 58 applicants. Additionally, 30 students were accepted into special classes.
Eligibility and Procedures for New Students
The General Authority congratulated all accepted students and wished them a successful start to their training journey. They are encouraged to follow the announcements and instructions issued through the authority’s official channels and the institutes affiliated with it. This includes keeping an eye on updates related to guidance procedures, interviews, class schedules, and the start dates for academic sessions.
In addition to these results, the Dean of Student Affairs announced the opening of applications for the re-registration of students who were dismissed on their own expenses for the first semester of the 2026-2027 academic year. The application period will run from Sunday, October 6, to Thursday, October 17. The application process will accommodate both first-time applicants and continuing students.
Important Information for Re-Enrollment
The application is available for students who were dismissed from the first semester of the 2024-2025 academic year through to the summer semester of 2025-2026, spanning a total of six semesters.
