In key matches, France defeated the Netherlands 3-0, Belgium overcame Denmark 3-0, Sweden won against Uruguay 3-0, and Italy secured a 3-0 victory over Japan. Portugal also made a clean sweep against USA, while Brazil managed to beat Germany 2-1 in another competitive match.
In other notable matches, Brazil defeated Netherlands 3-0 while Chile emerged victorious with a 2-1 win against Uruguay.
