The King Hamad Global Centre for Peaceful Coexistence (KHGC) and the Higher Committee for Human Fraternity (HCHF) recently signed a Memorandum of Cooperation (MoC) to launch the Leadership in Peaceful Coexistence programme. This initiative aims to equip young individuals with the skills and knowledge needed to promote the values of respect, religious and cultural dialogue, and conflict resolution. The programme includes training and educational courses focused on establishing values of respect and interfaith dialogue, mastering negotiation and mediation techniques for conflict resolution, and empowering youth to share their experiences with future generations.
Dr. Shaikh Abdulla bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Chairman of the KHGC Board of Trustees, praised His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa for his support of the centre’s programmes and activities.
