The Indian Ambassador to Bahrain, His Excellency Vinod K Jacob, recently inaugurated the “Study in India” counselling meet at the Ramee Grand Hotel in Seef. The event aims to provide guidance on higher education opportunities in India, attracting students and parents from Bahrain and India. In his address, Ambassador Jacob emphasized the importance of higher education and the need to adapt to market trends and study methods to offer cutting-edge education aligning with global standards. The event, held over two days, brings together 10 prestigious universities from Tamil Nadu, Bangalore, and Pune, offering personalized counselling to participants.

Notable figures such as Sanjoy Thapa, Dr. Varghese K. J., Dr. James Dabara, Anand Lobo, and Adv. Abdul Jaleel graced the opening ceremony of the event, sharing insights into the significance of the event and the opportunities Indian universities provide to international students. The event aims to showcase Indian universities as leaders in global education and serve as a gateway for students in Bahrain and the region to explore a variety of academic programs. With a total of 15 officials present to offer guidance, the event has garnered attention and interest from participants looking to pursue education in India.

The event, held on November 15th and 16th, aims to provide a platform for students and parents to explore educational opportunities in India, with universities like Christ University, Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT), Karunya Institute of Technology, and others showcasing their offerings. The event underscores the growing reputation of Indian universities for providing high-quality education and fostering a conducive learning environment for students from diverse backgrounds. Through personalized counselling sessions, participants can gain insights into various academic programs, scholarships, and admission requirements.

The event also highlights the importance of international collaboration in education and the role Indian universities play in promoting cultural exchange and diversity among students. By bringing together representatives from prestigious institutions and providing a platform for dialogue, the event aims to facilitate a seamless transition for students seeking to pursue higher education in India.
