241 trainees have graduated from the Institute of Facilities Security Forces

A total of 241 trainees graduated from the Facilities Security Forces in Riyadh, under the patronage of Minister of Interior Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif. The ceremony took place in the presence of Maj. Gen. Abdullah Al-Otaibi, the Commander of Facilities Security Forces, at the Training Institute in the Riyadh region. Maj. Gen. Al-Otaibi expressed his gratitude towards the Interior Minister for the support received by the Facilities Security Forces in various aspects, emphasizing the importance of professionalism and competence in maintaining the security of the homeland.

The graduated trainees comprised of 131 graduates from the qualifying course for the Ministry of Interior’s Diwan, 40 graduates from the qualifying course for the work of Facilities Security Forces, and 70 cadets from the 7 Basic Individual Course. The training included a combination of field training and theoretical education, with the latest security curricula aimed at preparing security personnel for working in various fields with professionalism. This training is crucial in ensuring the safety and security of vital facilities such as petroleum and industrial sites, both from external threats and internal security breaches.

Facilities Security Forces play a significant role in providing protection for key infrastructure and facilities, safeguarding them from potential threats. The forces are responsible for maintaining the security and efficiency of these facilities both from the outside perimeter and within the premises.
