140,000 citizens from Bahrain cross over to Qatar in 2023

The Qatar Tourism Authority recently released statistics showing that 140,258 Bahraini citizens visited Doha last year, accounting for 3% of the total tourist arrivals. Saudi Arabia remained the top contributor to Qatar’s tourism, with 25% of international arrivals coming from the country. Kuwait secured the second spot among Gulf countries, with 140,607 visitors recorded in 2023. The majority of Bahraini visitors arrived in Qatar via land borders, with 86% choosing this method, while 14% traveled by air.
