The excitement for the Formula 1 Qatar Airways Qatar Grand Prix 2024 is building up as the event approaches, with just six months left until the thrilling race takes place at Lusail International Circuit (LIC) in Doha, Qatar. The new QatarGP brand campaign was recently unveiled at an event attended by delegates from Qatar Tourism, showcasing exciting visuals and the campaign platform ‘Where hearts are racing.’ This reflects the deep integration of motorsport into Qatari society and LIC’s commitment to engaging fans and families through showcasing Formula 1, Formula 2, and F1 Academy action.

Amro Al Hamad, the Executive Director of Qatar Motor & Motorcycle Federation and CEO of LIC, emphasized their dedication to providing a top-notch experience for fans and participants. The Formula 1 Sprint Race will be back this year, along with the introduction of the F1 Academy and FIA Formula 2, ensuring an unforgettable experience for attendees. The ten-year agreement with LIC solidifies its status as a premier destination for motorsport enthusiasts. Ticket sales are going strong, with limited availability in some categories, encouraging fans to secure their tickets to witness the excitement at LIC.

The new QatarGP campaign, ‘Where hearts are racing,’ aims to create emotional connections between drivers and fans at the Formula 1 Qatar Airways Qatar Grand Prix 2024, both on and off the track at LIC. Fatima Al Qaedi, Marketing & Communication Manager at LIC, highlighted the goal of creating long-lasting memories and emotional experiences for attendees during the race weekend. The campaign seeks to connect fans with the events and experiences happening at LIC, including race victories, meeting racing heroes, and enjoying the vibrant atmosphere at the venue.

Dr. Buthaina Al Janahi, Head of Communication at Qatar Tourism, expressed her delight at the unveiling of LIC’s new visuals for QatarGP and the campaign platform ‘Where hearts are racing.’ Hosting major tournaments like the Formula 1 Qatar Airways Grand Prix underscores Qatar’s commitment to promoting tourism and sports as essential pillars for sustainable development. The event offers an opportunity for racing fans to experience Qatar’s cultural heritage and authentic values, making it a compelling tourist destination throughout the year.

LIC has solidified its reputation as a world-class racing destination, with state-of-the-art facilities and a 5.419km circuit that promises top-notch racing action for the next decade. The Formula Sprint Race will return to Qatar for the Formula 1 Qatar Airways Qatar Grand Prix 2024, providing additional excitement for fans. Alongside this event, the F1 Academy and FIA Formula 2 Championship will also take place, showcasing young female drivers and offering thrilling single-seater races to captivate the audience.

The addition of the F1 Academy and FIA Formula 2 Championship intensifies the on-track action, giving fans more racing excitement to enjoy during the three-day event. Early bird ticket sales have been successful, with phase 2 of ticket sales now live. Fans can purchase day and weekend tickets for the Formula 1 Qatar Airways Qatar Grand Prix 2024, scheduled from Thursday, 29 November to Sunday, 1 December. Be sure to secure your tickets to be part of this incredible racing event at LIC.
