The University of Technology Bahrain (UTB) and Bahrain Mobility International (BMI) Centre recently collaborated to organize a special event aimed at promoting disability awareness and fostering partnerships within the community. The event included various activities such as shotput, basketball, badminton, and paddle matches, creating an inclusive and engaging environment for participants. This initiative was part of UTB’s ongoing efforts to support individuals with disabilities and provide them with opportunities for personal and professional growth.

BMI Centre and UTB have been working together to develop sustainable programs for individuals with disabilities, with a focus on encouraging them to pursue their passions and strive for excellence. By organizing events like the special soul tournament, they hope to promote inclusivity and create more opportunities for people with disabilities to showcase their talents. Noura Aldosary, a member of BMI’s Board of Directors, expressed gratitude to UTB for hosting the tournament and looks forward to more collaborative activities in the future.

Dr. Adnan Altamimi, UTB’s Vice President for Administration and Finance and Head of Community Engagement Office, played a key role in organizing the event. He highlighted UTB’s commitment to promoting inclusivity and providing a platform for individuals, including those with disabilities, to showcase their talents and achieve their goals. By hosting the tournament, UTB aims to empower individuals, foster a sense of achievement, and promote community integration among participants.

The event was attended by students, staff, and members of the community, who all came together to support individuals with disabilities and celebrate their achievements. In addition to the various activities, refreshments and awards were also provided to enhance the vibrancy of the event and create a memorable experience for everyone involved. Through events like the special soul tournament, UTB and BMI are working towards building a more inclusive society where individuals with disabilities are supported and encouraged to reach their full potential.

The partnership between BMI Centre and UTB highlights the importance of collaboration in creating a more inclusive and supportive community for individuals with disabilities. By working together, they are able to provide more opportunities for people with disabilities to engage in activities, showcase their talents, and be recognized for their contributions. The success of the special soul tournament demonstrates the positive impact that such initiatives can have on individuals with disabilities and the broader community.

Overall, the collaboration between UTB and BMI Centre to organize the special soul tournament is a testament to their commitment to promoting disability awareness, fostering partnerships, and creating a more inclusive society. By providing opportunities for individuals with disabilities to showcase their talents and engage in various activities, they are helping to break down barriers and create a more supportive community for everyone. Through ongoing initiatives and partnerships, UTB and BMI are working towards building a more inclusive society where individuals with disabilities are valued, supported, and empowered to reach their full potential.
