HEC Paris in Qatar recently held a convocation ceremony to celebrate the achievements of its graduating classes from the Executive MBA and Specialized Master’s in Strategic Business Unit Management programmes. The ceremony, organised by Qatar Foundation, honoured seventy-seven graduates, with a significant portion being Qatari nationals and women. This diversity highlights the school’s commitment to building national talent and bridging gender gaps in the workplace, aligning with the goals of the Qatar National Vision 2030.
During the ceremony, Dr. Pablo Martin de Holan, Dean of HEC Paris in Qatar, commended the graduates for their dedication and hard work in their transformative journey. He emphasized that the graduates are now prepared to embrace new challenges and drive positive change in their organizations and communities. Dean Martin de Holan highlighted the lifelong learning journey that the graduates have embarked on, encouraging them to continue applying the principles of learning and innovation in their future endeavors.
The graduates themselves shared their experiences at HEC Paris in Qatar, with Executive MBA graduate Maha Al Henzab praising the diversity of her peers for broadening her perspectives. Another graduate, Ali Ahmad Al Mawlawi, expressed his commitment to continuous learning and applying the strategic problem-solving skills and ethical principles gained during the program to make a positive impact in his field and community. The graduates spoke of the inspiration, motivation, and confidence they gained from their time at HEC Paris in Qatar.
The convocation ceremony also saw Executive MBA alumni Ghanim Shaheen Al Sulaiti and Nayef Mehsin Alyafei being honoured with the prestigious QF Excellence Award. Presented by Her Highness Sheikha Moza bint Nasser, Chairperson of Qatar Foundation, the award celebrates academic excellence and holistic development. This recognition further highlights the impact and excellence that HEC Paris has been delivering in Qatar and the wider region since joining the Qatar Foundation family in 2010.
With more than 1,000 regional participants graduating from its management education programs, HEC Paris remains committed to nurturing future business leaders and contributing to Qatar’s knowledge-based economy. All graduates have also been invited to the June graduation ceremony at HEC Paris’ main campus in Paris, where they will join participants from all HEC Paris graduating classes. The school’s dedication to fostering innovation through inclusivity and excellence in education continues to make a significant impact in Qatar and beyond.
