The Sharjah International Book Fair (SIBF) 2025 will feature global superstar Will Smith as a guest speaker on November 14 at 8:00 PM on the event’s Main Stage. This appearance marks Smith’s first time as a featured guest at an international book fair, with SIBF attendees having a unique chance to hear his insights on writing, film, music, and business.

Khoula Al Mujaini, General Coordinator of SIBF, highlighted that Smith’s participation reflects the fair’s mission to celebrate various forms of artistic expression. SIBF’s theme this year is “Between You and a Book,” aligning with Smith’s own diverse career as an author, actor, musician, and entrepreneur.

Will Smith’s Literary Contributions

Smith has authored several books, including the memoir “Will,” co-written with Mark Manson, and the children’s book “Just the Two of Us.” His writing offers insights into his upbringing, creative journey, and life lessons. According to Al Mujaini, Smith’s presence at SIBF will inspire discussions around storytelling and resilience.

As a best-selling author, Smith’s literary work is a significant aspect of his career. His memoir has been well-received, providing a deep dive into his life and experiences. The children’s book, inspired by his popular song, celebrates the bond between parent and child.

Will Smith’s Multifaceted Career

Smith is a multi-talented individual with achievements in film, music, and business. He has won the Academy Award for Best Actor for his role in “King Richard” and has been nominated for Oscars for his performances in “Ali” and “The Pursuit of Happyness.” In the music industry, Smith has won four Grammy Awards and released several chart-topping hits.

Entrepreneurial Ventures

Beyond his artistic accomplishments, Smith is also a successful entrepreneur. He co-founded Westbrook Inc., a media and entertainment company; Dreamers VC, a venture capital fund; and The Mint Factory, which connects fashion, merchandise, and pop culture. These initiatives demonstrate his commitment to driving creative and cultural impact.

The 44th Sharjah International Book Fair, organized by the Sharjah Book Authority, will feature 2,350 publishers and exhibitors from 118 countries. The event’s diverse program includes over 1,200 activities with renowned authors and intellectuals.

As SIBF 2025 approaches, attendees can expect a rich and varied experience. With Will Smith’s participation, the event is set to inspire meaningful conversations around creativity and artistic expression. The fair’s success will depend on the engagement of its attendees and the quality of its programming.
