The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) has predicted fair to partly cloudy weather in the UAE on Sunday, June 30. The weather department mentioned that low clouds will appear over the East Coast by morning. Residents are advised to stay updated with the latest news by following KT on WhatsApp Channels. On Saturday, the Met had also forecasted low clouds over the East Coast, with a chance of convective clouds over the mountains, potentially leading to rainfall. Yesterday’s weather was significantly different from today, with fog warnings issued in various areas, causing a drop in horizontal visibility.

Despite the scorching temperatures, hail and rain were reported in some parts of the country on Saturday. The Met also issued an orange alert for rain and dusty conditions in certain Eastern areas. Light to moderate winds, occasionally freshening, are expected during the daytime today. Temperatures could reach up to 47ºC in the internal areas on Sunday, with Abu Dhabi and Dubai experiencing highs of 43ºC and 42ºC, respectively. The sea is anticipated to stay slight in the Arabian Gulf and the Oman Sea.

The fluctuating weather conditions in the UAE highlight the importance of staying informed and prepared for any changes. Keeping up to date with weather forecasts and warnings, such as those issued by the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM), can help residents plan their activities and ensure their safety. The presence of low clouds over the East Coast and the potential for convective clouds over the mountains indicate the possibility of rainfall in specific areas. It is crucial for residents to remain vigilant and take necessary precautions during adverse weather conditions.

Fog warnings and alerts issued by weather authorities serve as crucial reminders for motorists and pedestrians to exercise caution on the roads. Reduced visibility due to fog formation can pose risks to road users, leading to accidents and traffic disruptions. The occurrence of hail and rain amid persistent hot temperatures underscores the unpredictable nature of weather patterns. The orange alert for rain and dusty conditions emphasizes the need for residents to be prepared for sudden changes in weather.

The forecasted temperatures for Sunday indicate high heat levels, urging residents to stay hydrated and seek shade when outdoors. With Abu Dhabi and Dubai expected to reach temperatures of 43ºC and 42ºC respectively, it is essential to take necessary precautions against heat-related illnesses. The presence of low clouds over the East Coast may bring relief from the intense heat, but residents should remain cautious of potential rainfall. Overall, staying informed, prepared, and adaptive to changing weather conditions is key to ensuring the well-being and safety of individuals in the UAE.
