The Al Baleed Beach Project in the Wilayat of Salalah is a new initiative established by the Ministry of Heritage and Tourism in the Al Baleed Archaeological Park to provide a recreational outlet for families during the Khareef season. This project aims to cater to citizens, residents, and visitors of the Dhofar Governorate and has already become a positive addition to the tourism sector in the region. The project features a 1,200-meter walkway on a suspension bridge and 8 cafes and restaurants overlooking the sea, providing a unique experience for visitors.

Ali bin Salem Al Kathiri, Director of the Frankincense Land Sites at the General Directorate of Heritage and Tourism in Dhofar Governorate, highlighted the Ministry’s commitment to utilizing heritage components and empowering the local community through investment agreements with companies like the Royal International Company. Haitham bin Salem Al Hadary, the owner of the investing company, emphasized the importance of the Al Baleed Beach project in enhancing economic and social life in the region. The project creates an attractive environment for everyone to enjoy shopping, dining, and exploring the various components of the project along the bridge.

The Al Baleed Beach project is a unique architectural masterpiece that features shops and restaurants suspended on a bridge overlooking the sea, providing visitors with an exceptional experience. Al Hadary expressed confidence in the project’s ability to attract tourists, ultimately benefiting the community and positioning the region as a distinctive tourist destination. Plans for the future development of the project include making additions that will appeal to a wider range of ages, ensuring that everyone can benefit from this initiative in a positive and engaging manner.

Overall, the Al Baleed Beach Project is a promising venture that is set to transform the region’s tourism sector and enhance the overall visitor experience in the Dhofar Governorate. With its unique features, stunning architecture, and commitment to empowering the local community, this project is bound to attract a significant number of tourists and contribute to the region’s economic growth. As the project continues to evolve and expand, it will undoubtedly solidify its position as a must-visit destination for tourists and locals alike.
