Queen Of The Pride, owned by Qatar Racing Limited, dominated the Lancashire Oaks at Haydock with a commanding win guided by jockey Oisin Murphy. The filly, trained by John and Thady Gosden, comes from an impressive lineage with Roaring Lion as her sire and Simple Verse as her dam. Despite high expectations, she has been living up to her family’s legacy with her recent successes.

During the race, Queen Of The Pride was strategically held back in the last trio of the field by Murphy. However, she made a strong move in the final two furlongs and pulled ahead to win by three lengths. The favorite, Tiffany, came in second place with Lady Boba taking third. Queen Of The Pride’s victory at the Lancashire Oaks is just the latest in a series of impressive performances, including a Group Three win at the same course and distance in the Pinnacle Stakes last month.

Murphy praised the filly’s performance, noting her relaxed demeanor and strong finish. He mentioned that they had originally been eyeing the Prix de Royallieu as a potential long-term target for Queen Of The Pride. With her continued progress and success on the track, it is clear that she has a bright future ahead of her under the guidance of her talented team.

Queen Of The Pride’s journey has been marked by steady improvement and resilience. Despite a defeat on her Newmarket debut last summer, she bounced back with a victory at Leicester and has been on an upward trajectory ever since. With each race, she has been showcasing her potential and proving herself as a top contender in the racing world.

The combination of Queen Of The Pride’s impressive pedigree, skilled training, and talented jockey has proven to be a winning formula. As she continues to excel on the track, her connections are likely already looking towards future targets and races where she can further demonstrate her abilities. With each victory, Queen Of The Pride is solidifying her status as a rising star in the world of horse racing.

Overall, Queen Of The Pride’s Lancashire Oaks victory was a testament to her talent and potential. With a strong performance guided by Oisin Murphy, she has proven that she is a force to be reckoned with on the racecourse. As she continues to progress and succeed, all eyes will be on her as she works towards achieving even greater heights in her racing career.
