Qatar National Sprint Round 4 ends after exciting competition

The fourth round of the 2024 Qatar National Sprint saw Charbel Chebly and Mansour Chebli dominating the competition in their respective categories. Charbel took the top spot in the Open Class 1, setting a best lap time of 44.378 seconds in his Renault Clio. Mansour was the fastest in the Production 1 category, finishing closely behind Charbel with a time of 44.911 seconds. Abdulaziz Al Ramih from Saudi Arabia rounded out the top three in Class O1 with a lap time of 46.226 seconds in his Toyota GT86.

In Class O2, Jad Alawar from Lebanon secured first position with a time of 45.685 seconds in an Evo 8. Qatar’s Maher Serre emerged victorious in the O3 category with a lap time of 48.141 in his Nissan 350Z. In the Production categories, Mansour took the win in Class P1 with a best lap of 46.319 seconds, followed by Charbel and Nadim Ziade. Ziade claimed first in Class P2 with a time of 45.436 seconds in his Renault Megane, while Francesco Fornaciari won the P3 class with a time of 46.673 in a Lotus Exige.

Paige De Jager took the top spot in the women’s category, driving a Mitsubishi Eclipse and setting a time of 52.614 seconds. She was followed by Nasmee’a Christian and Melina Jokic. The Championship will continue with the remaining two rounds taking place on October 5 and 19.

Overall, the fourth round of the Qatar National Sprint showcased some impressive performances from the drivers, with Charbel and Mansour standing out as the top contenders in their respective classes. Fans can look forward to more exciting racing action in the upcoming rounds as the competition heats up towards the final stages of the Championship.
