Al Attiyah Motors & Trading Company has recently signed a sponsorship agreement with the Qatar Basketball Federation (QBF) to be the official sponsor of the prestigious Amir Cup basketball tournament for the 2023-24 season. As part of this sponsorship, the company will also be offering a car as a prize for fans attending the final match of the tournament. The announcement was made by QBF Secretary General Saadoun Al Kuwari, who expressed gratitude to Al Attiyah Motors & Trading Company for their support.

The sponsorship agreement was finalized at a signing ceremony where representatives from Al Attiyah Motors & Trading Company, including Kia Brand Manager Hossam Abu Shadi, company executive Bassam Al Taweel, and Service Manager Hani Mohammed, were present. Also in attendance were QBF media official Dr. Khaled Al Qahtani and several federation members. Al Kuwari emphasized the importance of participation, excellence, and inclusivity in the development and expansion of the game, stating that they will work diligently to achieve their goals and establish successful partnerships.

Hossam Abu Shadi, the Kia Brand Manager, expressed pride in sponsoring the prestigious Amir Cup and highlighted the collaboration between Al Attiyah Motors & Trading Company and QBF. The semi-finals of the Amir Cup are set to begin soon, with Al Arabi facing off against Al Ahli followed by a match between Al Rayyan and Al Sadd. The semi-finals will be played in a “play-off” format, with five matches scheduled on specific dates leading up to the final round on May 24th.

Fans attending the final match of the Amir Cup will have the opportunity to win a car provided by Al Attiyah Motors & Trading Company. The draw for the winner of the car will take place shortly after the final match, adding an exciting element to the tournament for fans. The sponsorship agreement between Al Attiyah Motors & Trading Company and QBF signifies a commitment to the growth and development of basketball in Qatar and highlights the importance of partnerships in the success of sporting events. The collaboration between the two entities is expected to benefit both the sport and the fans in the years to come.
