Premier Padel, the leading professional padel tour worldwide, has announced a new partnership with Qatar Airways, making the airline the Title Sponsor of the official tour. The tour will now be known as the ‘Qatar Airways Premier Padel Tour’ with the finals in Barcelona becoming the ‘Qatar Airways Premier Padel Finals’. This partnership aims to support the growth and expansion of padel worldwide with 25 tournaments across 17 countries planned for the 2024 season.

The collaboration between Qatar Airways and Premier Padel will involve designing custom solutions for players and fans to enhance their travel experiences. Qatar Airways, as the Official Airline Partner of Premier Padel, will connect padel fans, athletes, and officials through its network of over 170 destinations via its hub, Hamad International Airport. This partnership will provide global visibility for the tour and contribute to taking the sport to the next level.

Nasser Al Khelaifi, Chairman of Premier Padel, expressed his excitement about the new partnership with Qatar Airways, highlighting the airline’s status as the world’s best airline and a leading global brand. He emphasized their commitment to the growth of padel worldwide and their ambition to elevate the tour and the sport to new heights. The partnership with Qatar Airways signifies the commercial and sporting appeal of Premier Padel and their dedication to expanding the sport globally.

The CEO of Qatar Airways, Engr. Badr Mohammed Al Meer, emphasized the airline’s role in connecting fans, players, and officials on the 25 destination tour. He expressed the airline’s commitment to accelerating the popularity and growth of padel as the Official Title Partner and Official Airline Partner of the Qatar Airways Premier Padel Tour. The sport represents the diversity of Qatar Airways’ portfolio and their passion for uniting people through sport.

With Qatar Airways joining as a strategic partner, Premier Padel aims to strengthen its footprint across Europe and the Middle East, particularly in key markets such as France, Germany, Italy, Spain, KSA, and the UAE. The partnership with Qatar Airways, along with other key strategic partners, such as Red Bull, Wilson, Mejor Set, Mondo, Bullpadel, and Playtomic, will support the development and expansion of Premier Padel, offering fans and players unique cross-industry experiences across the sport.

Overall, the partnership between Premier Padel and Qatar Airways signifies a significant milestone for the sport of padel, with a focus on global expansion, enhanced travel experiences for players and fans, and increased visibility for the tour.
