Rafa Mujica, a Spanish striker, has made a strong impact in the 2024-2025 Ooredoo Stars League after joining Al Sadd from Portuguese club Arouca. Currently the top scorer in the league with five goals, including a hat-trick, Mujica has shown his ability to add strength to Al Sadd’s attack. Despite a slow start, Al Sadd, the reigning league champions, have climbed to third place in the OSL table with six points. Mujica’s hat-trick against Al Arabi and other goals against Qatar SC have been instrumental in the team’s success.

In an interview with the Qatar Stars League website, Mujica expressed his excitement about the new challenge of playing in the Qatar league and his desire to help Al Sadd win titles. He emphasized the importance of team success over individual achievements, stating that his main goal is to score more goals to contribute to the team’s cause. Mujica praised the level of competition in the Ooredoo Stars League, highlighting the high quality of football and intensity on display in the matches.

Mujica spoke highly of Al Sadd as one of the best teams in Qatar and Asia, stating that it was a dream come true to represent the club. He also praised coach Felix Sanchez for his experience and strategic understanding of the game, hoping to learn more from him. The Spanish striker emphasized the camaraderie within the team, describing his fellow players as cooperative and supportive, creating a genial atmosphere in the team camp. Mujica’s dedication to training hard and playing hard reflects his commitment to achieving the team’s goals.

As a versatile player who can also operate as a winger, Mujica’s contributions to Al Sadd’s attack have been crucial in their recent victories. With his focus on team success and willingness to learn from the coaching staff, including head coach Felix Sanchez, Mujica is poised to continue making an impact in the Ooredoo Stars League. His positive attitude and strong work ethic are clear indicators of his determination to help Al Sadd fight for titles and achieve success in the league.
