German coach Matthias Jaissle of Al Ahli Saudi FC recently spoke at a press conference where he expressed his determination to showcase the best possible performance from his team in every match. Jaissle discussed the team’s preparations for the upcoming match against Al Okhdood in the Saudi Pro League, acknowledging the contrasting performances of his team in different competitions. He stated that while the team has shown a remarkable version of Al Ahli in Asian elite competitions, their performance in the league has been less impressive. Jaissle emphasized the importance of focusing on details in preparation for each match and expressed his hopes for the team to continue performing at their best in all competitions.

When asked about his expectations for the next match, Jaissle emphasized his desire to see the best version of the team’s performance in terms of quality and results. He specifically mentioned the importance of avoiding injuries in the upcoming period and held the club’s management accountable for not securing the necessary signings to support his tactical plans. Jaissle praised Saudi international player Firas Al-Buraikan for his positive mentality and willingness to serve the team in any position. He commended Al-Buraikan’s versatility in playing different roles on the field and giving his all for the team.

One of the challenges that Jaissle addressed was the team’s tendency to struggle after taking the lead in matches. He explained that in football, when a team takes the lead, the opponent will often push harder in the second half to equalize, leading to difficulties for the leading team. Jaissle highlighted the importance of injecting fresh energy into the players in the second half to maintain their advantage. While there are opportunities to finish the game and avoid difficulties, Jaissle acknowledged that the team has not always capitalized on those chances.

Jaissle also spoke about the unwavering support of the fans and the challenges they face. He acknowledged the criticism the team receives on social media and expressed his appreciation for the fans’ support. Jaissle emphasized the hard work that he and the team have been putting in since he joined the club, stating that anyone who understands football will recognize their efforts. He expressed gratitude towards the fans and highlighted the wonderful feeling of coaching a team with such a fantastic fanbase. Jaissle concluded by emphasizing the importance of the fans’ support and expressing his dedication to giving his all for the team.
