Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti expressed his satisfaction after a 3-2 home win over Deportivo Alaves in La Liga on Tuesday. Despite surviving a late comeback from Alaves, Ancelotti commended his team for their overall performance. Lucas Vazquez, Kylian Mbappe, and Rodrygo scored for Real Madrid, while Carlos Benavidez and Kike Garcia scored late goals for Alaves. Ancelotti highlighted that his team dominated the game for a significant period and praised their efforts in creating scoring opportunities.

Ancelotti emphasized the importance of maintaining focus throughout the entire match, even when in a comfortable lead. He acknowledged the impact of allowing late goals on the team’s confidence but also recognized the positive aspects of their performance. The manager highlighted the team’s improvement and their ability to create chances through different methods. He also pointed out the demanding schedule ahead, with a crucial match against Atletico Madrid on the horizon.

Real Madrid is currently second in the La Liga standings with 17 points, just one point behind leaders Barcelona. Ancelotti’s team remains unbeaten after nine games in all competitions this season. The upcoming match against Atletico Madrid, who are fourth in the standings, poses another tough challenge for Real Madrid. Ancelotti praised the progress of star forward Kylian Mbappe and Jude Bellingham’s performance, particularly their role in combining for Real’s second goal against Alaves.

Ancelotti emphasized the importance of teamwork and creating opportunities against tough opponents like Alaves, who utilize a low defensive block. He commended Mbappe for his contributions to the team’s attack and highlighted Bellingham’s versatility in different areas of the pitch. Despite the late scare against Alaves, Ancelotti remains optimistic about the team’s progress and ability to compete at the highest level. With a demanding schedule ahead, Real Madrid will need to maintain their focus and continue their positive run of form in the upcoming matches.
