Al Duhail is gearing up for a crucial match against Al Sadd in the Ooredoo Stars League. Both teams are top contenders in the league and will face off at the Khalifa International Stadium in what promises to be an exciting showdown. Al Duhail has been in exceptional form this season with four consecutive victories, scoring 12 goals and conceding only one. Their opponents, Al Sadd, have had a mixed start to the season, with two wins and two losses, currently sitting in third place.

The reigning champions, Al Sadd, will be looking to bounce back in the league after a lackluster start. They will be missing Mohammed Waad, who was sent off in their previous match against Umm Salal. On the other hand, Al Duhail will be banking on their star players such as Almoez Ali, Michael Olunga, and Edmilson Junior to deliver in the highly-anticipated clash. Al Sadd, led by top scorer Rafa Mujica and playmaker Akram Afif, will be aiming to secure a crucial win against their rivals.

Meanwhile, Umm Salal will be seeking to build on their momentum from their victory over Al Sadd as they face Al Shahania in their upcoming match. The Orange Fortress, currently in fourth place, has the opportunity to move up to the top three with a win. However, bottom-placed Al Shahania will be looking to secure their first win of the season and will be putting in all efforts to upset Umm Salal. Coach Alvaro Mejia expressed confidence in his team’s ability to secure three points and emphasized the importance of converting opportunities into goals.

In another match, Al Shamal led by Baghdad Bounedjah will take on Al Khor with the aim of increasing their points tally. Sunday’s round will feature a highly-anticipated match between Al Rayyan and Al Wakrah at Ahmad Bin Ali Stadium. Other exciting battles on the day include Qatar SC against Al Gharafa and Al Ahli against Al Arabi. Fans can expect a thrilling round of matches with strong competition and intense battles on the field as the teams vie for crucial points in the league standings.
