Abu Dhabi is set to host a unique event called the NBA Fan Appreciation Day, featuring a never-before-seen clash of football legends on the basketball court. The event will take place on October 5 at the Etihad Arena on Yas Island, showcasing a hybrid basketball and football match titled ‘Clash of the Legends’. This game will bring together some of the greatest footballers of all time, including Roberto Carlos, Luís Figo, Iker Casillas, Ronaldinho, Thierry Henry, and Gerard Piqué, who will face off in a thrilling 3×3 game filled with excitement and friendly rivalries.

The event promises to be historic as it marks the first time these football legends will compete against each other in a basketball game. Players like Casillas, Piqué, and others are looking forward to showcasing their skills on the court and providing fans with an unforgettable experience. The players are excited to bring their intense football rivalry to the basketball court and create a unique and exciting atmosphere for spectators. With the NBA Fan Appreciation Day in Abu Dhabi, fans can expect a high-energy game filled with competition, skill, and entertainment.

The event will also feature a special guest performance by award-winning American rapper 2 Chainz, adding to the excitement and entertainment for the fans. Tickets for the NBA Abu Dhabi Games 2024 presented by ADQ, which will take place on October 4 and 6, are currently on sale at etihadarena.ae and ticketmaster.ae.
