The Sharjah Islamic Affairs Department has announced that 640 prayer halls and mosques in the emirate will be allocated for Eid Al Adha prayers, including chapels and public squares. These prayer halls and mosques are spread across different cities and suburbs in Sharjah, with 447 in Sharjah and the Hamriya region, 106 in the central region, and 87 in the eastern region. The department has also allocated specific prayer venues for non-Arabic speakers, offering services in Urdu, Malayalam, Tamil, and English. Additionally, there will be simultaneous translation of the Eid sermon in sign language for people with hearing disabilities at the Imam Ahmed bin Hanbal Mosque in the Al Jazzat area.

In order to ensure smooth coordination and organization of the Eid prayers, the department has been working closely with the Sharjah Police General Command, the Sharjah Municipality, and other relevant authorities in the emirate. This collaborative effort aims to provide a seamless and inclusive prayer experience for all residents and visitors during Eid Al Adha. The department has also released the prayer timings for different regions in Sharjah, with Sharjah and Hamriya’s prayer time set at 5:44 am, Al Dhaid and Al Bataeh at 5:43 am.

As the Eid Al Adha celebrations approach, it is essential to stay updated with the latest news and information regarding prayer venues, timings, and protocols. By following KT on WhatsApp Channels, individuals can receive timely updates and notifications to ensure they are well-prepared for the Eid prayers. This proactive approach can help attendees plan their schedules and make the most of this auspicious occasion in Sharjah.

The allocation of prayer halls and mosques for Eid Al Adha prayers reflects the commitment of the Sharjah Islamic Affairs Department to providing accessible and inclusive religious services for the community. By designating specific venues for different language speakers and offering translation services for individuals with hearing disabilities, the department is ensuring that all members of the community can participate in the Eid prayers. This inclusive approach aligns with the principles of unity and diversity that are integral to the Islamic faith.

During Eid Al Adha, Muslims around the world gather to commemorate Prophet Ibrahim’s willingness to sacrifice his son as an act of obedience to God. The prayers offered during this time symbolize gratitude, humility, and devotion to Allah. By providing ample prayer venues and ensuring smooth coordination with relevant authorities, the Sharjah Islamic Affairs Department is upholding the spirit of Eid Al Adha and facilitating a meaningful and spiritual experience for the community.

In conclusion, the announcement of the allocation of 640 prayer halls and mosques for Eid Al Adha prayers in Sharjah is a testament to the department’s commitment to serving the diverse religious needs of the community. By prioritizing inclusivity, accessibility, and coordination, the department is ensuring that residents and visitors can observe Eid Al Adha with ease and peace of mind. As individuals prepare to partake in the Eid prayers, staying informed about prayer timings and venues through platforms like KT’s WhatsApp Channels can enhance the overall experience and foster a sense of communal unity and celebration.
