Saudi students win nine special awards at ISEF 2024

Saudi Arabia’s young scientists once again made a remarkable impact at the prestigious Regeneron International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF) 2024 in Los Angeles, securing a total of nine special awards across various scientific disciplines. This marks the 18th consecutive year of recognition for Saudi students at the international competition, highlighting the Kingdom’s commitment to fostering scientific talent. Among the standout performers were Jamal Muhammad Al-Luqmani in materials science, Elias Maho Khan and Layan Al-Qarafi in biomedicine and health sciences, and Areej bint Abdullah Al-Qarni in materials science. Additionally, Fatima Al-Shakhs, Lana Al Mazrouei, Abeer Al-Yousef, and Saleh Al-Anqari received accolades in environmental engineering, cellular and molecular biology, and chemistry.
