Saudi student Jawaher Al-Enezi has made waves in the tech world with her award-winning app “My Child.” Developed during her time at the Apple Developer Academy, the app aims to support children and young people who stutter by providing therapeutic exercises and real-life practice scenarios. Al-Enezi drew inspiration from her personal experiences, having developed a stutter at a young age. With the help of her father, she learned techniques to manage her stutter, which she incorporated into the app. Using AVFAudio technology, “My Child” features characters inspired by her father and grandfather to help users practice speech techniques.

Al-Enezi’s future plans include a career in programming in Saudi Arabia, where she hopes to publish “My Child” on the App Store. She remains focused on developing tools to assist individuals facing speech and communication challenges. Her success reflects the efforts of the Apple Developer Academy in Riyadh, established in collaboration with Tuwaiq Academy, to empower female tech leaders and innovators in the region. As the only all-female Apple Developer Academy globally, the academy emphasizes the important role of women in advancing technology and innovation.

By sharing her story and accomplishments, she is inspiring others to pursue their dreams and make a positive impact in the world of technology.

The success of “My Child” and Al-Enezi’s journey serve as a testament to the power of technology to make a difference in people’s lives. By leveraging her personal experiences and expertise, she has created a valuable tool that has the potential to help countless individuals overcome communication challenges.
