The Saudi Human Resources Development Fund (HADAF) has allocated approximately SR3.7 billion ($986 million) to support employment, training, and qualification of Saudis during the first half of this year. Minister of Human Resources and Social Development Eng. Ahmed Al-Rajhi made this announcement during the launch of ‘Jadarat,’ the Unified National Employment Platform. Over 100,000 establishments have benefited from these programs, resulting in over 153,000 citizens being employed in private sector establishments. The main goal of the platform is to unify employment efforts and data of job seekers in both the public and private sectors, in order to raise the quality and reliability of data.

Jadarat was established in accordance with a Cabinet decision issued in February 2021, with the aim of connecting Saudi job seekers with job opportunities available in the public and private sectors. The platform also seeks to develop procedures, process employment applications, facilitate access to job opportunities, and provide national competencies to meet the needs of public entities and private establishments. By harnessing modern technologies, artificial intelligence, advanced analytics, and behavioral sciences, Jadarat provides innovative and unique digital services to help match job seekers with suitable opportunities.

The platform features a database that is integrated with the Ministry of Education and the General Organization for Social Insurance (GOSI). It offers services such as job matching, verifying data of registrants automatically, and documenting qualifications and experiences in collaboration with government systems. Jadarat aims to automate and develop its services to empower Saudis, enhance their participation in the labor market, and support efforts to develop the local labor market as part of the Saudi Vision 2030. By providing an environment that promotes sustainability and job stability for national competencies, Jadarat works towards achieving national targets in the national transformation.

HADAF Director General Turki Al-Jawini stated that there are approximately 70,000 job vacancies available on the Jadarat platform across various specializations and sectors of the labor market. The platform was designed to facilitate the job search process for citizens and serve as a primary tool for employment. Al-Jawini emphasized HADAF’s commitment to incorporating international qualitative experiences and addressing challenges faced by the labor market. Through three experimental phases, the platform was tested to ensure quality and efficiency in collecting data of job seekers and employers, as well as developing new services for private sector establishments.

The Jadarat platform integrates data from job seekers and business owners registered on the Taqat and Jadarah platforms. Taqat, the National Labor Gateway, offers a wide range of employment opportunities and services for job seekers. Jadarah, the E-Recruitment System, allows Saudi job seekers to register their personal data, qualifications, work experience, and apply for vacancies advertised by government agencies. By streamlining and organizing the Saudi labor market operations, these platforms aim to provide a seamless digital matching process for finding job opportunities and connecting with beneficiaries. Overall, the launch of Jadarat signals a significant step towards enhancing job opportunities, empowering Saudi citizens, and supporting the goals of the Saudi Vision 2030.
