The Royal Army of Oman (RAO) celebrated the centenary of the establishment of the Sultan of Oman’s Artillery in a ceremony held under the patronage of HH Sayyid Shihab bin Tarik Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for Defence Affairs. The event included a military infantry parade, musical performances by the RAO band, a visual presentation on the history and modernization plans of the Sultan of Oman’s Artillery, and a field and air show showcasing historical and modern weapons and equipment.
