The Academic Bridge Program recently celebrated the graduation of its Class of 2024 in Doha, Qatar, honoring 123 male and female graduates. The ceremony, which took place at the Pre-University Education (PUE) Theater, was attended by officials, faculty members, and parents. Dr. Saheim Khalaf Al Temimi, ABP’s Director, commended the graduates for their commitment to social responsibility and their desire to make a positive impact on society. Established in 2001, ABP aims to prepare high school graduates for admission to top universities in Qatar and around the world through personalized academic support and skills development.

One of the graduating students, Abdalla Al Malki, shared his experience with the program, stating that it was transformative for him both academically and personally. He commended the faculty for their invaluable support and guidance throughout his time at ABP. Another graduate, Maryam Al Ibrahim, highlighted the impact of the program on her personal development, emphasizing the importance of confidently expressing needs and effectively managing time. She credited ABP for providing a supportive environment that encouraged her to step out of her comfort zone and advocate for herself, ultimately equipping her with the confidence and skills needed for success in both academic and personal pursuits.

The ceremony served as a significant milestone for the graduates, marking the end of a journey filled with learning, challenges, and experiences. Dr. Al Temimi expressed pride in the graduates’ accomplishments and their determination to create positive change in society. He reiterated the importance of ABP’s mission to support students in achieving their university dreams, emphasizing the program’s commitment to providing tailored academic support and personal skills development for each student.

As the President of Pre-University Education at Qatar Foundation (QF), Abeer Al Khalifa also attended the ceremony to celebrate the achievements of the graduates. The event highlighted the impact of ABP in preparing students for success at top universities both locally and internationally. The supportive environment and personalized academic support provided by the program were instrumental in helping students like Abdalla and Maryam grow academically and personally, ultimately equipping them with the confidence and skills needed for future endeavors.

The graduation ceremony not only symbolized the completion of the students’ academic journey but also served as a testament to their dedication and hard work. It showcased the transformative impact of the Academic Bridge Program in shaping the lives of its graduates and preparing them for future success. The words of the students themselves, such as Abdalla and Maryam, spoke volumes about the valuable lessons and experiences they gained from their time at ABP, underscoring the program’s commitment to fostering personal growth and academic excellence. Through its unwavering dedication to supporting students in achieving their university dreams, ABP continues to make a positive impact on the lives of graduates and contribute to the advancement of society as a whole.
