In 2024, the Ministry of Transport (MoT) in Qatar aimed to strengthen the country’s global position by developing land, maritime, and air transport infrastructure with advanced technologies. The key accomplishments in the land, maritime, and air transport sector were highlighted in a recent post on the MoT’s social media handle. Hamad Port, Qatar’s main gateway to world trade, implemented measures to protect the environment and combat climate change, and Mwani Qatar was awarded for its excellence in environmental management.
