Saad bin Mohammed Al Rumaihi, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Qatar Press Center, attended a meeting in Baghdad where the General Union of Arab Journalists announced that a recommendation had been received to accept the Qatar Press Center as a full member of the Union. This decision was made during a meeting led by Muayyad Al-Lami, President of the Union of Arab Journalists and Head of the Iraqi Journalists Syndicate. During the meeting, Al Rumaihi provided an overview of the Qatar Press Center, including its mission, vision, and the various events, seminars, and training courses it offers in line with Qatar National Vision 2030.

President Al-Lami invited Al Rumaihi to visit Baghdad and meet with members of the Union to learn more about their activities and initiatives. During his visit, Al Rumaihi had the opportunity to meet with various Arab media figures participating in the meeting and received praise for the role of Qatari media in supporting Arab issues and the rights and freedoms of journalists worldwide. The Chairman expressed gratitude for the warm hospitality and organization of the meeting by the Union and the Iraqi Journalists Syndicate, and wished them continued success in serving the media and media professionals.

The Qatar Press Center aims to contribute to the development of media and journalistic work while focusing on the well-being of media professionals. By becoming a full member of the General Union of Arab Journalists, the QPC will have the opportunity to collaborate with other members from across the Arab world to further enhance the field of journalism. This partnership will also allow for the exchange of knowledge and best practices in media and journalistic endeavors.

The meeting in Baghdad was accompanied by various activities that were appreciated by all attendees. This event provided a platform for networking and collaboration among media professionals from different Arab countries. It also highlighted the importance of supporting journalists and promoting press freedom in the region. The presence of Al Rumaihi at the meeting further solidified the commitment of the Qatar Press Center to upholding the highest standards of journalism and media professionalism.

The warm reception and praise received by Al Rumaihi from fellow media figures at the meeting underscore the positive impact of the Qatar Press Center’s initiatives and activities. By actively engaging with the Arab media community, the QPC has established itself as a key player in promoting media development and supporting the rights of journalists. This recognition further validates the important role that the QPC plays in advancing the field of journalism and enhancing the professionalism of media practitioners in Qatar and beyond.

In conclusion, the acceptance of the Qatar Press Center as a full member of the General Union of Arab Journalists marks a significant milestone in the Center’s ongoing efforts to promote media excellence and support the growth of journalism in the Arab world. By collaborating with the Union and other members, the QPC will be able to expand its reach and impact, furthering its mission to contribute to the development of media and journalistic work in line with Qatar National Vision 2030. The success of the meeting in Baghdad and the positive feedback received from attendees serve as a testament to the valuable role that the QPC plays in advancing the media industry and supporting media professionals in Qatar and beyond.
