Qatar and Kiribati sign Memorandum of Understanding on civil aviation

Minister of Transport H E Jassim Saif Ahmed Al Sulaiti and Minister of Information, Communication, and Transport of Kiribati H E Tekeeua Tarati met in Doha, Qatar, to discuss cooperation in transportation and ports. They explored ways to strengthen their relationship, particularly in civil aviation. A memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed between the civil aviation authorities of both countries, allowing Qatar’s national carrier to operate flights and transport passengers and air cargo to Kiribati. The MoU was signed by officials from Qatar Civil Aviation Authority and the Kiribati Ministry of Information, Communication, and Transport.

This agreement marks a significant step in enhancing the partnership between Qatar and Kiribati in the field of transportation.
