During the meeting, both parties emphasized the significance of enhancing bilateral relations to achieve common goals and address regional challenges. The discussions also revolved around the current situation in Gaza and the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, underscoring the importance of finding a peaceful resolution to the ongoing crisis.

HE Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani reiterated Qatar’s unwavering support for the Palestinian people and their legitimate rights, including the establishment of an independent Palestinian state with East Jerusalem as its capital. The French parliamentarians expressed their appreciation for Qatar’s efforts in promoting peace and stability in the region and reaffirmed their commitment to working together towards a just and lasting solution.

The meeting comes at a critical time when tensions in the Middle East are running high, particularly in Gaza, where violent clashes between Israeli forces and Palestinian protesters have resulted in numerous casualties. Both Qatar and France share a common goal of promoting peace and stability in the region and have been actively engaged in diplomatic efforts to de-escalate the situation.

In addition to discussing the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, the meeting also focused on ways to enhance economic cooperation between Qatar and France. The French delegation expressed interest in exploring new opportunities for trade and investment in Qatar, particularly in the fields of energy, infrastructure, and technology. Both parties agreed to continue working together to expand their economic partnership and create more opportunities for collaboration.

Overall, the meeting between HE Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani and the delegation of French parliamentarians reaffirmed the strong and longstanding ties between Qatar and France. Both countries remain committed to deepening their bilateral relations and working together to address common challenges and promote peace and prosperity in the region. The discussions highlighted the importance of continued cooperation and dialogue in finding peaceful solutions to complex regional issues.
