Prime Minister Meets with Indonesian Minister of Foreign Affairs

During the meeting, both parties expressed their commitment to strengthening bilateral ties and cooperation in various fields, including trade, investment, and education. They also discussed regional and international issues of mutual interest, such as the situation in Gaza and the Occupied Palestinian Territories.

HE Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani emphasized the importance of finding a peaceful solution to the ongoing conflicts in the region and pledged Qatar’s continued support for the Palestinian people. HE Retno Lestari Priansari Marsudi expressed Indonesia’s solidarity with the Palestinian cause and highlighted the need for a concerted effort to address the humanitarian crisis in Gaza.

The two ministers also discussed ways to promote economic cooperation between Qatar and Indonesia, with a focus on increasing trade and investment opportunities. They agreed to explore new avenues for cooperation in various sectors, including energy, infrastructure, and tourism. The meeting underscored the strong bonds of friendship and cooperation that exist between the two countries.

HE Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani and HE Retno Lestari Priansari Marsudi reaffirmed their commitment to working together to address common challenges and promote peace, stability, and prosperity in the region. They agreed to continue dialogue and cooperation on issues of mutual interest, including counter-terrorism and regional security.
