Organizers of the Paris Paralympics announce sale of 2 million tickets

The Paris Paralympics are set to open with over two million tickets already sold, ensuring full stadia for the Games. Paris 2024 president Tony Estanguet and International Paralympic Committee (IPC) president Andrew Parsons announced the ticket sales at a press conference, with 500,000 tickets still available. The best-selling events include blind football, taekwondo, track cycling, shooting, triathlon, and equestrianism. Organisers have made venues more accessible for people with reduced mobility, including iconic locations like the Grand Palais and the Palace of Versailles. Parsons highlighted the connection that spectators have with Paralympic sports, expressing confidence in selling more tickets as the Games progress.

Les Jeux Paralympiques de Paris s’apprêtent à ouvrir avec plus de deux millions de billets déjà vendus, assurant des stades pleins pour les Jeux. Le président de Paris 2024, Tony Estanguet, et le président du Comité international paralympique (CIP), Andrew Parsons, ont annoncé les ventes de billets lors d’une conférence de presse, avec 500 000 billets toujours disponibles. Les événements les plus vendus incluent le football aveugle, le taekwondo, le cyclisme sur piste, le tir, le triathlon et l’équitation.
