In Ankara, Basil Ahmed Al Rowas, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Youth for Sports and Youth, recently met with Prof. Dr. Halis Yunus Ersöz, Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Turkiye. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss ways to enhance cooperation between Oman and Turkiye in the fields of sports and youth development. This collaboration could lead to valuable exchanges of knowledge and experiences between the two countries.

During the visit, the Undersecretary attended various presentations on sports, youth activities, sports tourism, and international organizations and relations in Turkiye. This allowed him to gain a deeper understanding of how Turkiye approaches sports and youth development, and how they engage with international partners in these fields. These insights could be valuable for Oman as it seeks to improve its own sports and youth facilities and programs.

Additionally, the Undersecretary had the opportunity to explore various sports facilities, clubs, and youth complexes across Turkiye. This firsthand experience provided him with a practical understanding of how these facilities are managed and utilized in the country. By observing these facilities in action, he can gather ideas and inspiration for potential improvements to sports and youth infrastructure in Oman.

The meeting in Ankara signifies the commitment of both Oman and Turkiye to strengthening their cooperation in the fields of sports and youth development. By exchanging best practices, knowledge, and experiences, the two countries can both benefit and improve their respective sports and youth programs. This collaboration has the potential to enhance the overall quality and reach of sports and youth initiatives in both Oman and Turkiye.

Overall, the meeting between Basil Ahmed Al Rowas and Prof. Dr. Halis Yunus Ersöz in Ankara was a productive opportunity to explore areas of mutual interest and cooperation between Oman and Turkiye in sports and youth development. By sharing insights and experiences, both countries can learn from each other and improve their own sports and youth facilities and programs. This collaboration has the potential to strengthen the bonds between the two nations and contribute to the overall development of sports and youth initiatives in Oman and Turkiye.
