British rock legends Oasis announced their highly anticipated reunion for a worldwide tour starting in the UK next year, marking the end of a 15-year feud between brothers Liam and Noel Gallagher. The iconic band, known for hits like Wonderwall and Champagne Supernova, will kick off the tour in Cardiff, Manchester, London, Edinburgh, and Dublin in a series of long-awaited shows. Formed in Manchester in 1991, Oasis played a significant role in the Britpop era of the 1990s and garnered a massive following during their prime.

After years of speculation and hints, the official announcement of Oasis reuniting for a tour came as a pleasant surprise to fans worldwide. The band expressed their excitement about coming together again, promising a remarkable live experience for their audience. The tour will commence at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff on July 4, 2025, followed by performances at various iconic venues across the UK, such as Wembley Stadium in London, and Croke Park in Dublin. This reunion is expected to be one of the most significant live events of the decade.

Oasis’s influence on ‘90s Britpop music is undeniable, as they were at the forefront of the genre alongside bands like Blur. The Gallagher brothers’ sibling rivalry became infamous, with public fights and disagreements becoming common occurrences during the band’s heyday. The acrimonious split of the brothers in 2009 led to a decade-long hiatus of the band, during which both Liam and Noel pursued solo careers but continued to perform their old band’s hits to sold-out crowds.

The upcoming reunion marks a significant milestone for Oasis as it coincides with the 30th anniversary of their acclaimed album (What’s the Story) Morning Glory?. In celebration, previously unheard tracks from the band’s debut album Definitely Maybe will be released, giving fans a glimpse into their early recording sessions. Despite ongoing rumors and speculations, Oasis’s appearance at the Glastonbury 2025 festival has been debunked. However, fans can expect an intimate and memorable experience at the band’s upcoming shows.

The Gallagher brothers have previously teased at the possibility of a reunion, with Noel expressing openness to the idea. The recent social media activity and teasers from both Liam and Noel had hinted at an imminent announcement, culminating in the official confirmation of the tour. Fans of Oasis from around the world are eagerly anticipating the band’s reunion shows, which promise to be a nostalgic journey back to the golden age of Britpop. With plans for the tour to extend beyond Europe, Oasis Live ’25 is set to become a global sensation, solidifying the band’s legacy as one of the most influential rock acts of their generation.
