The National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) has announced exclusive opportunities for Non-Resident Indians (NRIs) to enroll in its undergraduate and postgraduate programs in fashion education. With 19 campuses across India, NIFT offers diverse courses in design, fashion management, and fashion technology. Each course at every NIFT campus reserves three seats for NRI students. Programs available include Bachelor of Design (4 years) with specializations in Textile Design, Fashion Communication, Fashion Design, Accessory Design, and Knitwear Design, Bachelor of Fashion Technology (4 years), and postgraduate programs (2 years) in Fashion Management, Master of Design, and Master of Fashion Technology. NIFT has recently expanded its footprint with the inauguration of a new campus in Daman, located in the Union Territory of Dadra Nagar Haveli, Daman & Diu. This campus offers a Bachelor’s Degree in Textile Design and a Master’s Degree in Fashion Management, and is strategically positioned just 170 kilometers from Mumbai and 125 kilometers from Surat. To assist NRI students in navigating the admission process, the Daman campus has organized open house sessions for counseling and guidance.
