Mukatel Al Shahania emerges victorious in Prix Tidjani

On a day filled with excitement and competitive racing, Mukatel Al Shahania emerged as the champion of the Sheikh Mansoor Festival – Prix Tidjani (PA) in Doha. Owned by H H Sheikh Mohammed bin Khalifa Al Thani and trained by Francois Rohaut, this Purebred Arabian proved to be a force to be reckoned with on the racetrack. With jockey Ioritz Mendizabal guiding him expertly, Mukatel Al Shahania put on a stellar performance that left the competition in the dust. This victory was particularly impressive considering it was only his second start, following a promising debut at Toulouse the month before.

From the outset, Mukatel Al Shahania showed his potential by staying near the front of the pack and maintaining a strong position throughout the race. As they approached the final turn, it became clear that this talented horse had plenty left in the tank. Bred by Al Shahania Stud, Mukatel Al Shahania comes from a prestigious lineage that includes a Gr.2 (PA) winner in Djelana and a Gr.1 (PA) winner in Khataab. This impressive pedigree undoubtedly played a role in shaping Mukatel Al Shahania into the talented racehorse he is today. With such strong genes and a winning mentality, it’s no wonder that he was able to outshine the competition and claim victory at the Sheikh Mansoor Festival – Prix Tidjani (PA).

The partnership between jockey Ioritz Mendizabal and Mukatel Al Shahania proved to be a winning combination, with Mendizabal’s skillful riding complementing the horse’s natural abilities.
