The eleventh edition of the “Fak Kurbah” initiative in Muscat has successfully released over 1,200 indebted individuals. The Omani Lawyers Association, which oversees the initiative, announced that a total of 1,219 cases were resolved in this latest edition. Dr. Hamad Al-Rubaie, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Omani Lawyers Association, revealed that the highest number of cases released came from North Al Batinah Governorate, followed by Muscat Governorate and Al Buraimi Governorate.

The broad participation from donors has enabled the initiative to set a new record in terms of the number of cases resolved. Since its launch in March, the initiative has garnered support from various sectors of society, leading to a cumulative total of approximately 7,100 cases being resolved since 2012.
