The Ministry of Heritage and Tourism in Muscat recently signed a usufruct agreement with Omran Group to develop the Majlis Al Jinn Cave located in the Wilayat of Quriyat, in the Governorate of Muscat. This agreement will lead to the establishment of a tourism and environmental project that will focus on activating the cave’s components while providing necessary protective tools for adventurers and service facilities. The agreement was signed by Salim Mohammed Al Mahrouqi, the Minister of Heritage and Tourism, and Dr. Hashel Obaid Al Mahrouqi, the CEO of Omran Group.

Under the terms of the agreement, Omran Group will be responsible for the operational aspects of the project, as well as the employment and training of trainers. The company will also ensure the preservation of wildlife inside the cave and its surrounding areas. Additionally, Omran Group will collaborate with specialized operators to develop a sustainable and long-term plan to activate the location. The Majlis Al Jinn Cave is an impressive natural wonder, boasting a floor area of 58,000 square meters, a capacity of 4 million cubic meters, and dimensions of 310 meters in length and 225 meters in width.

This collaborative effort between the Ministry of Heritage and Tourism and Omran Group aims to promote tourism in the area while protecting the natural ecosystem of the Majlis Al Jinn Cave. By providing necessary tools and facilities for adventurers, as well as ensuring the preservation of wildlife, the project seeks to offer visitors a unique and sustainable experience. With its vast size and impressive dimensions, the Majlis Al Jinn Cave has the potential to become a popular tourist destination in Muscat.

The development of the Majlis Al Jinn Cave is part of a larger effort to enhance Oman’s tourism industry and showcase the country’s natural beauty to the world. By partnering with Omran Group, the Ministry of Heritage and Tourism is taking a proactive approach to ensure the responsible development of this natural wonder. With a focus on sustainability and the preservation of wildlife, the project will help to create a positive impact on the local community and economy.

As Omran Group takes on the operational aspects of the project, they will also work to train local trainers to ensure the long-term success and sustainability of the venture. By engaging with specialized operators and developing a comprehensive plan, they hope to activate the location in a way that benefits both tourists and the natural ecosystem of the cave. This collaborative effort is a testament to the commitment of both parties to promoting responsible tourism and preserving Oman’s natural heritage for future generations.

In conclusion, the usufruct agreement signed between the Ministry of Heritage and Tourism and Omran Group represents a significant step towards the development of the Majlis Al Jinn Cave in Muscat. By focusing on sustainability, wildlife preservation, and responsible tourism practices, the project aims to offer visitors a unique and memorable experience while protecting the natural ecosystem of the cave. This collaboration between the government and the private sector showcases Oman’s commitment to promoting tourism and preserving its natural heritage for generations to come.
