In the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region, there is a significant talent sourcing challenge for companies due to the rapid growth, especially in fields that require specialized skills. A report by Zurich International Life highlighted the shortage of talent with essential skillsets for key positions in countries like the UAE and KSA. These talent deficits are approximately 24% and 30% in these regions. David Stockton, CEO of Dulsco Group, mentioned that this talent shortage will have a medium to substantial impact on business operations in these countries.

Dulsco Group, founded in 1935, has grown to become a leader in recruiting solutions for people, environment, talent, and energy across over 70 countries. Starting with traditional workforce solutions, the company has diversified its services over the past decade to offer a broader range of solutions. In 1996, Dulsco established an environmental management business known as Dulsco Environment, which provides sustainability solutions, waste management services, and more.

Dulsco Environment is a top solutions provider for commercial, residential, and industrial clients, serving over 2,200 clients with 250 vehicles in operation. It has evolved from a waste transporter to a waste treatment solutions provider, focusing on government sustainability initiatives and circular economy directives. In 2023, Dulsco Environment managed over 1 million tonnes of waste with more than 70% diversion from landfills, recycling construction & demolition waste and operating a liquid treatment facility that complies with MARPOL standards.

Recent acquisitions by Dulsco have further expanded its capabilities. In 2022, the company acquired Parisima, a talent acquisition firm specialized in Recruitment Process Outsourcing, Permanent Placement, and Contract Staffing in the GCC and beyond. The acquisition of Edinburgh-based Advance Global Recruitment Ltd (AGR) in 2023 strengthened Dulsco’s presence in the energy recruitment sector with expertise in 70 countries. The company plans to focus on both organic and inorganic growth in the coming years, seeking opportunities to enhance solutions in new and existing markets while investing in talent and supporting regional and global expansion needs.

Overall, Dulsco Group’s commitment to providing innovative solutions in talent acquisition, environment sustainability, and energy recruitment positions them as a leading player in the MENA region. With a focus on addressing talent shortages, embracing sustainability initiatives, and expanding their global reach through strategic acquisitions, Dulsco is well-positioned for continued growth and success in the years to come.
