Chelsea secured an impressive 5-0 victory over West Ham United in a recent English Premier League match at Stamford Bridge. The win boosted Chelsea’s chances of qualifying for European competition next season. Nicolas Jackson was the star of the show, scoring twice during the game. Mauricio Pochettino’s team now sits in seventh place in the league standings, just two points behind sixth-place Newcastle.

Chelsea has been on a scoring spree at home, netting an impressive 22 goals in their last six league games at Stamford Bridge. The team dominated the first half of the match, with Cole Palmer opening the scoring in the 15th minute. Conor Gallagher doubled the lead with a volley in the 30th minute, before Noni Madueke added a third goal six minutes later. Jackson continued the goal fest by scoring in the 48th and 80th minutes, bringing his total for the season to 16 goals.

This victory marked Chelsea’s first back-to-back league wins since January, showcasing a return to form for the club. Meanwhile, the defeat for West Ham dealt a blow to their European hopes, as they now sit in ninth place in the standings, five points behind Chelsea with only two games left in the season. The result leaves David Moyes’ team likely to miss out on European competition next season.

Overall, Chelsea’s dominant performance against West Ham highlighted their attacking prowess and ability to score goals. The team’s strong showing at home and recent run of form bodes well for their chances of qualifying for Europe next season. Meanwhile, West Ham will need to regroup and finish the season strongly if they want to have a chance of securing a spot in European competition. The stage is set for an exciting conclusion to the Premier League season as teams battle it out for coveted spots in European competitions.
