The “Hour and Hour” programme, led by CEO Tamani Al Yafei, recently organized a series of cultural and entertaining activities in celebration of Eid Al Adha in collaboration with Al Hazm Mall in Doha, Qatar. The four-day event featured a variety of activities and competitions designed to bring joy and fun to participants of all ages. Al Yafei highlighted the diverse range of activities offered, including drawing workshops for children, henna sessions, Qatari Ardha performances, and cultural competitions that attracted a large number of enthusiastic participants eager to win prizes.

Participation in the Eid Al Adha activities aligned with the programme’s mission to promote Qatari heritage through cultural and artistic initiatives, forging partnerships with various community organizations to strengthen cultural identity. Al Yafei commended the success of previous cultural and heritage events organized by the programme, such as the “Hayya Beya and Eid Al Adha” event held at the Abdullah Lahdan Al Muhannadi Museum in collaboration with the Qatari Media Center and local schools. The goal of these events is to preserve the values and traditions of Qatari ancestors while connecting younger generations with their cultural and religious heritage.

The activities also aim to instill a love for heritage in young people, encouraging them to embrace their identity and history while promoting values of patience, sacrifice, and adherence to traditions. Through cultural performances and artistic showcases, the programme seeks to showcase Qatari culture, national identity, and authentic heritage, preserving the essence of the country’s rich cultural legacy for future generations. Al Yafei emphasized the importance of community participation and collaboration in organizing events like those at Al Hazm Mall, which serve to preserve Qatari heritage while bringing joy to children and families alike.

By creating a unique blend of popular heritage, entertainment, and community engagement, the programme strives to foster a sense of unity and familiarity among all members of society. The activities at Al Hazm Mall during Eid Al Adha aimed to revive cherished customs and traditions while spreading happiness and warmth throughout the community. Through their commitment to preserving Qatari heritage and promoting cultural values, the “Hour and Hour” programme continues to play a vital role in connecting generations and preserving the essence of Qatari identity.
