The celebrations, themed “Here’s to the next 10 amazing years,” featured a variety of festive activities across the terminal, showcasing the airport’s dedication to providing unforgettable experiences for its diverse range of passengers.
Passengers at the airport were treated to live cultural performances from different regions around the world, including Asia, Africa, Europe, and Latin America. These performances took place at various locations within the terminal, such as the ORCHARD, Concourse A and B, and Viale del Lusso. Additionally, traditional Qatari entertainment in the form of the Ardha sword dance was performed near Souq AlMatar, a Qatari souq recently opened within the airport.
Notable locations within the terminal, such as the Lamp Bear at the South Plaza and the ORCHARD at the North Plaza, were transformed into mini music festivals featuring live DJ performances. Street musicians also greeted arriving passengers in the Arrivals Hall, adding to the festive and lively atmosphere of the celebrations. These activities highlighted the airport’s commitment to creating a welcoming and engaging environment for all travelers.
